Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the Terms of Service or other agreement governing your use of GrantAppli’s Services (“Agreement”). It outlines prohibited activities in connection with your use of GrantAppli’s Services and Sites (collectively, “Services”), in addition to the restrictions in the Agreement. Terms not defined here have the meanings set forth in the Agreement.

• Prohibited Activities

You represent and warrant that you will not, and will not allow any third party to:

1. Access, tamper with, reverse-engineer, export, or search the Services or underlying systems (“Systems”) by any means other than the provided interface (e.g., scraping, spidering, or crawling).
2. Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities or breach/circumvent security measures of the Services or Systems.

1.3. Overwhelm infrastructure with unreasonable requests (e.g., bots sending excessive server requests).

1.4. Copy, modify, create derivative works of, or remove proprietary marks from the Services or Systems.

1.5. Use the Services to transmit malware or engage in phishing.

1.6. Perform activities or submit materials that harm or disrupt the Services, Systems, or infrastructure.

1.7. Engage in illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or competitive activities using the Services.

1.8. Attempt to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access to the Systems.

1.9. Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person, organization, or entity.

1.10. Violate others’ privacy by posting private or confidential information without authorization.

1.11. Encourage or perform activities that are defamatory, harassing, threatening, or hateful.

1.12. Upload or transmit content containing viruses, malware, or other harmful components.

1.13. Overuse the Services beyond the anticipated standard, such as excessive storage consumption.

1.14. Send messages that are unlawful, unsolicited (spam), or violate recipients’ communication preferences.

1.15. Generate harmful, hateful, or illegal content, including through AI features within the Services.

1.16. Infringe on any third-party rights, including intellectual property.

2. Prohibited Content

You will not upload, submit, transmit, or make available any content that:

2.1. Exploits or abuses children, including depictions of child abuse or sexualization.

2.2. Infringes on intellectual property rights, privacy, or proprietary rights.

2.3. Is deceptive, illegal, obscene, defamatory, harassing, or violent.

2.4. Encourages or promotes hate, discrimination, or harm based on race, religion, gender, or other protected categories.

3. Monitoring

GrantAppli reserves the right to monitor activities and content on its Services to ensure compliance with this AUP and the Agreement.

4. Copyright Compliance

We respect copyright and intellectual property rights and respond to infringement notices in accordance with our Copyright and Content Policy.

5. Violations

If we suspect violations of this AUP or applicable law, we may, without notice or liability to you:

5.1. Remove or block violating content.

5.2. Suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services.

5.3. Restrict access to submitted content or data.

6. Updates to this AUP

GrantAppli may update this AUP periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the Services or email. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.
